The Basics of ARTAS®

Once you are approved as a patient, you will be scheduled for the procedure, which will be done in the comfort of our office in Jericho, New York. On the day of your transplant, Dr. Gohil will use ARTAS® robotic technology to identify the best donor hairs from the back of your head. Unlike other procedures such as strip surgery which involves the use of scalpels and leaves a scar, we’ll harvest hair in a minimally invasive fashion.

Robotic technology allows your doctor to monitor and track each hair. Unlike hair transplants that use a handheld device, the ARTAS® graft transfers will be just as accurate the thousandth time as it will be the first time. Your hair will look healthy and natural and ready for the beach.
